🏛️ Design & inspiration
Built in accurate 1:35 scale, this model represents a field-configured German WWII half-track Flak support vehicle, including platforms comparable to the KHD S3000 Maultier, adapted in the field for mobile anti-aircraft support roles.
The combination of a wheeled front axle and a fully tracked rear unit reflects real-world engineering solutions developed to operate heavy weapons in mud, snow and harsh Eastern Front terrain, where standard wheeled trucks struggled.
Finished in an Eastern Front–inspired camouflage scheme, this variant emphasizes durability, mechanical presence and battlefield functionality under extreme frontline conditions.
Designed with clean lines, solid structure and strong visual impact, it’s ideal for display, photography and large-scale WWII dioramas, either as a standalone centerpiece or paired with other TDB® WWII vehicles.
